I Am 84 Seasons Old

March 25, 2009

“When you rise in the morning, give thanks for the light,
for your life, for your strength.
Give thanks for your food and for the joy of living. “

Teaching of Tecumseh

And so it is that I am 21 years old, or will be in 6 hours. I guess I could write out a long, drawn out blog on what my 20th year of life was life, what happened, who I loved, who I lost and who I rolled my eyes at. But, I don’t happen to think thats a very intersting way to go . Maybe it would be more intersting to write about what I am thankful for. Yes, I think I’ll treat my birthday like my own personal Thanksgiving:)

::I Give Thanks for…

::Fresh, clean air     ::My forgiving Mother     ::My patient Father     ::My funny brother     ::My supportive Sister     ::The Color Green     ::The few, unique and loyal friends I have     ::Spring and Autumn     ::Ireland and all its might;0)     ::Maxwell Folder Starbuck Vandeway     ::A country road to walk on     ::Being 6′ Tall     ::My Passport     ::The countries I’ve travled too     ::The countries I will travel too     ::Books, words and all the letters in between     ::My eyes     ::My job     ::Having a God who has a plan for me     ::Having a heart     ::Having all my limbs     ::Having the world at my fingertips    ::Music     ::Movies     ::Knowledge     ::Passion

Okay, so there are to many things I’m thankful for to keep writing…this is taking a long time.
